Problems with BBC Iplayer

I am having problems downloading programs from IPlayer all of a sudden. I have made sure that the Multimax VPN is connected, but the programs just do not start to download. There is no notification from IPlayer as to why. Any one having the same problem, or know of the reason for this?

Any chance you have run out of space on the device you download to? Just a thought. We have a dodgy hard drive on our laptop which disappears at random, iPlayer doesn't like that, unsurprisingly.

I have found it very erratic I just turn everything off then try again later when it is usually OK.

Here in the Uk I use a vpn, but the BBC no longer allow you to access it with a UK address, my vpn provider advised me to use an Isle of Man address, which works fine.

I'm in the UK but just activated my SurfEasy VPN and downloaded a programme on i player with no problems.
