2 Explosions at Brussels Airport

Unconfirmed reports that 2 explosions have been heard at Brussels airport causing chaos at present. Blasts were in the departure lounge at the American checkin desk. All flights to Brussels have been diverted.

Also an explosion at a Metro station near to the EU HQ, all metro stations closed.

European citizens receiving the hard end of the stick due to inadequate government policy on immigration, open boarders and the lefty do gooders. No doubt more to come in other European capitals, as usual the stable door is being bolted when the horse has bolted.

God help us if they decide to attack Ercan. I was there yestrtday evening to collect my wife. Went thru 'security' so I could meet her in the building rather than the scrum just outside the doors. Security was more than poor. There were unattended bags that no-one thought worth checking despite asking an official to do so. I actually moved miles away from one unattended bag which of course thankfully did not contain a bomb, but of course it could have. Considering where we are located geographically someone needs to get a grip of security generally and specifically at Ercan. Do I think that will happen? Not really. I'd fly to and from the south but it's not much better there. Think it's a Cypriot thing.
