Taxis from Metahan

Believe it or not, a package from Australia, correctly addressed to North Cyprus, has ended up in Larnaca and now is being held at the Customs office in NIcosia. You would not ruddy believe it because we have received notice that it's being held in Nicosia at our Alsancak post office! What my husband would like to do - as he's not keen on driving in the south - is park at Metahan and catch a taxi over the other side to the post office. Anyone know if you can pick up a taxi easily on the Greek-Cypriot side of Metahan? Thanks in advance for any help.

Park at ledra palace walk over theres a taxi office just by the gc passport office

should have said just before the tc control turn right first left there is a car park 5tl
5 minute walk across did it 5 times in the last month

Thanks, Wanderer, but my husband wants to go via Metahan crossing, he hates trying to find his way through the Nicosia maze!

mo its not in the maze its outside the wall go past kyrenia gate on your left take the first left after kyrenia gate 100 yards traffic lights straight over the TRNC border post right immediate left car park
