Are all our messages , emails , text's etc. reconnoitered for key words. I remember my dad telling me amazing story's of this even in the 60's with Telecons.

Last night I sent a simple message to one of my friends via Viber. All it said was , I looked forward to watching the match all day, but the b-------s have blocked it on the internet.

Within seconds my original message had a logo attached to it and the name Al Mirra TV company. I thought how odd. So I spent a few minutes searching this etc. Hey Presto Wales V Ireland. I could not get full screen but it was watchable.

I don't use Viber, but if you read the terms and conditions carefully, you will probably find that you agreed to them using your information for 'marketing purposes' - i.e. allowing them to sell everything that you write, and everything that they know about you to other companies to do whatever they like with

Viber may appear to be 'Free' - but I'm sure that as a Restauranter, you are well aware that there is 'No such thing as a Free Lunch'

God knows how that strange word reconnoitered got in there . last time I looked it said monitored (or so I thought.).

I am not objecting to it Kieth just asking. I do not understand how these things work , but my dad told me in the 60 s how key words are obtained by listening stations. I found it fascinating.

I am talking split second response. I know the military do this because I met a guy from St. Hilarion military and this was his job. But I just wondered how it worked with us normal people . (so to speak). Is it every text, every phone call. every email etc. etc.

Obviously within split seconds something reacted to my words. IE Internet blocked football.

Acutally I quite often give a free supper.

I managed to watch all the group games of the Euros via my XBMC box on BBC & ITV. Now when I try, a message appears. "This channel is blocked due to the Euro football games" or words to that effect. I can watch via BBC, ITV again through my XBMC but by loading NTV via google and still watch through the television.
