Recommendation for eye specialist required

I would appreciate a recommendation for an eye specialist in Kyrenia please. This is for a friend who has a possible eye infection but who also needs (I believe) a corneal transplant. Sorry not sure if this is relevant but just wanted to highlight that he really needs a specialist. Thanks.

If you look back at previous threads not everyone has been satisfied with Dr Hatice & please remember you only have one pair of eyes.
The top specialist here is Dr Mustafa Guvenir who has a clinic oppsite the Lefkosa State Hospital I think you will find lots of recommendations on previous threads.

I certainly reccomend Dr Guvenir ,a very professional caring man ,I've recently had eye surgery and cannot praise Dr Guvenir enough 0392 223 6640

All well and good folks, but the original poster asked for a Girne-based eye specialist, not Lefkosa, hence our recommendation. However, should he/she be happy to travel to Lefkosa, there is a recommended alternative specialist?

Tomsteel sorry but for something as important as your eyes the 15 min trip to Lefkosa should not even come into the equation.

ozankoys, because you had a poor experience with Dr Hatice, whereas mine was fine, does not mean the poster wanted information outside of Girne - that was my point. If the visit to Dr Hatice did not meet expectations, then there was an option to go elsewhere.

Thanks all and yes Girne was important for various reasons. My friend has now commenced treatment with Dr Hatice.
