I don't normally do this, in fact this is a first. There is a new Restaurant opened last week in Ozankoy and we gave it a try out last night. It is in the old Five Fingured Restaurant and Bar in the centre of the village and it is a real gem.
It is a Family run business and they deserve to succeed. Lovely hot and cold Mezes freshly made and a mixed kebab that was mouthwatering.
Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Went a few nights ago to try it out. A lot of time and effort, and money, has been spent doing it all up, and it is very nice with a lovely roof terrace and fabulous views from there, of Bellapais Abbey and the mountains. The family that run it and the staff are very courteous and attentive. There are a few other things on the menu other than the usual kebabs. We had the Afeylia, which is lamb cooked in red wine. It was ok. I think that the place could be a little goldmine potentially, has a big carpark at the back which is a bonus in the village. A couple of downsides for us. 3 items we ordered from the menu, one meze and 2 different bottles of wine, they didn't have, but, fine chose something else and put it down to maybe being newly opened and not fully stocked. Had a bit of a dispute with the bill, which was rectified, so no real problem, but I would advise checking the bill as it is a bit odd the way it is calculated. The main thing though, which I did point out, is that we found the price of the individual mezes extraordinarily high. One very small cheese borek, 3 inches long at the most, was 4TL, small pot of yoghurt was 5tl. These were individually priced items, but normally would expect 3 or 4 of the boreks as a portion. Coffee on the house, but no fruit. Will leave it a while before going again, hopefully they will think about the pricing. It would be nice to see them doing well, as they have put a lot of effort in, but they will have to make some improvements I think, to compete with Erols which is just up the road, and represents better value for money.
