How to check utility bills online

Hi everyone. We would like help to be able to check our electric and, if possible, water usage online whilst we are not in Cyprus. Our bills are paid by the KOOP so no problems there. Just would like to be able to monitor consumption --- yes, we had several 'unseasonally large' bills!
thank you.

Re Kibtek, I was not aware you could check your readings online. Others may know.

My rental agent arranged for me to receive my Kibtek bills by email each month, and the bills show the readings.

There were a few hiccups at the start, and someone at Kibtek sorted it out for me, communicating with me by email. If you’d like to PM me, I will send you his email address.

Re water readings, I'm not sure if there is a way you can check this remotely.

I suppose someone could use their phone, take a picture of your water meter and then send it to you. We send instantaneous pics back and forth all the time using WhatsApp

If your property is left unattended, it might be wise to fit 'lockable' taps to any outside standpipes, just to make sure that someone doesn't 'accidentally' use your water by mistake...

You can arrange with kibtek for your bill to be emailed every month. They send a bill with itemised use age attached.

Don't think the village council's have the technology for such a feat. But still produce paper bills, which as the guys above said, easy to for someone to take picture and send over.
