Can anyone recommend a reasonable and reliable optician that can make me a pair of varifocals please.

Any help would be appreciated. Preferably in the Kyrenia area.

Canada Optical on the east side opposite the Lemar Supermarket. Had my verifocals made in 2/3 days and very pleased with them.

Akay Optics, going down the high street in Girne, on the right hand side. Very good, always get ours from there, reasonable prices, varifocals...ready in about a week I think.

Do they test your eyes as well?

Have always had to go to Opthamic Surgeon for full eye tests and been given the prescription to get dispensed at the Optics of your choice. Have experience of both mentioned in above posts and can recommend both.

Where is the Opthamic Surgeon to get eye tests?

Not absolutely certain exactly where it is located. I think, after the Lefkosa roundabout, coming from the Lapta side, heading towards the traffic lights at Dogankoy.

canada optics and akay are not allowed to do eye tests. Dr Hatice is by the Bellapais traffic lights next to a butchers.

Can recommend Dr Hatice. She removed cataracts from my husbands eyes and did retinal implants. This was over 10 yrs ago with no problems at all since. Always happy with my own eye tests.
