We have recently discovered that whilst we were recently in the UK several itms have gone missing from our home. As there was no sign of forced entry we can only assume that it was someone who had legimate access to ou home. The missing items that we have discovered thus far are :- a gold cross and chain that my wife had given to her mother who wore right up to the time of her death and had gained a great comfort from; a gold maltese cross and chain; a gold half hunter pocket watch engravec with a hunting scene and chain; a set of silver etched cufflinks; numerous items of jewelery (rings - that have no great value but are valuable to my wife); my full size and minature medals (GSM NI/LSGC RAF) both inscribed with my name and service number; a silver birth sign(cancer) necklace; also other household items. There may be other items that we have not discovered yet. If anyone is offered or know of the whereabouts of these items, especially the cross and chain, please contact me or the Police. My wife is absolutely heartbroken over the loss of the cross as it was the last link with her mum. Many thanks in advance

I am so dreadfully sorry to read of your plight. How horrible, please pass on my regards to your wife. I know just how she feels about personal possessions belonging to her late Mother. I am sure both you and the Police must have an indication of who was able to your enter your property without the necessity of breaking in and I sincerely hope they are dealt with in the appropriate manner.
