Microwave oven

After about 30 years of impeccable service our Matsui microwave packed up a few days ago. Has anyone bought a new microwave (freestanding) here recently? We want a white one, 850w. Where is the best place to get one? Thanks in advance for your responses.

I've not bought one yet but have started looking around. Arcelik (near Baris park) none at all last week, Beko only had fitted units, Toros had one - white- but only 20 litre capacity.
I want a 25ltr unit so I can put a decent size dish in it! Found one in the Bosch shop -680tl - but with silver finish.
I did look at Carrefour and Superhome on South side but not impressed with what I saw.

frontalman,try Marks world in Karakum. We're in there looking at other stuff & noticed they had some. Samsung I believe but not certain. Maybe ger a bit of "Indirim" too.

There is a professional catering supplies shop in Girne that sells microwaves. From the Nicosia round a about, straight on to the Bellapais lights. Turn left at the lights and you will find the shop 500 yds on your left hand side. You can park outside the shop

Bought a stainless steel microwave from them a couple of years ago. It has a high wattage and also has a grill. It is a compact size suitable for both domestic and professional use. The price 2 years ago was very competitive.
