Imersion Heater not Working - Need Help

Tried mine for the first time this morning and Hey Ho, No Go!!!
Has anyone found a good reliable person to change one?

is there water coming out of the taps? do you need to switch off the water supply to the solar and open the supply to to immersion, i know i had that to do when i had one

Its probably the thermostat needs changing or the temp turning up not the complete unit. Its easy to fit unless the tank is hard to reach, and I think they cost about 25tl.

Thanks for suggestions guys, set off into the area where hot water tank is, inside our roof space unusually, and was about to take the front cover off of the tank when I remembered that power was still on to the immesion, SWITCHED IT OFF.
Took the front cover off of the tank and found the live wire disconnected!!!! With a bare wire end hanging very close to the tank cover.
Reconnected, turned power on and immersion now functioning ok.
Good learning point about water and power!!
