Try and guess the Song & the Artist/Band from from a short intro of a dozen popular songs, That i am sure you will all know. But do you know the answers

Followed by the Mini Music Quiz, Test your knowledge on 10 music based questions.

Well. A very close Music Intro Quiz last week. The winners won by 1 point. The 1st and 2nd teams were neck and neck on the intro quiz. But the winners got that extra 1 point on the Mini Music Quiz. And a good turn out as well.

And it's on again on Monday Night 22nd.

First part of the quiz is spot the Intro. Listen to the first few bars of some very well known songs, mainly from the 60s. and simply name the Song and the Singer/Band. And answer the bonus question on the song or the singer.

The 2nd part is 10 questions on general music knowledge. And the winners take home a Bottle Of Wine.

It's a really easy quiz. Even i know all the answers Kicks of around 8 30 PM. Hope to see you there.

A good night last night at Emily's Music Quiz.

9 teams took part and the winners with a score of 39 out of a possible 46 points took the bottle of plonk. but only by 1 point with the runners up at 38 points.

And there was some very good scores all around.


One of the songs in the intro quiz was "Light My Fire" by the Doors. the bonus question was This singer (Jim Morrison) is in a well know club. Whats the club. Well it is of course the 27 club, Jimi Hendrix Amy Winehouse and more all died at 27 years of age. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/27_Club

While doing the answers one wag said, "Can we have one year each way" So i had to explain that if he died at 26 or 28 he would not be in the club would he eh.
