Van Rental UK to TRNC return

Has anyone done this and if so what rental Company did you use? Is it at all possible to rent a panel van in the UK and take it overland to TRNC carrying personal and household goods?

Would it be cheaper / better to send the goods approx 15 to 20 boxes cartons by part load with one of the regular carriers?

When are you coming? I'm currently researching costs of taking stuff back mid-april. No idea whether it would be possible to insure for different drivers. Where in the UK would the rental be from?

April sounds good. I am based in Gloucestershire. Most of the UK van rental firms will rent out vehicles for use in and around the European Union but draw the line at Turkey and the TRNC. It’s an insurance thing!
