Just returned from overseas to find I can't get to Erulku. As mountain road closed during day. Is there another route without going via Lefkosia? Via Essentepe maybe???

I think the next major road across its passed esentepe and instead of turning left for tatlisu turn right which brings you out near gecitikale. whether there are country lanes to get you there in a shorter distance I am afraid I can't help you.

We used this road yesterday and it is a good alternative and much safer as mentioned above turn right this road until you come from there to a round about with a petrol station on the left take the third exit and follow the road and you will arrive at the airport mall from there head towards Lefkosha and the supermarket is on the right.

Yeah Mimi2, as snd1966 says don't turn left towards Tatlisu go right. Just keep following that road over the mountain and you will come to a roundabout, go right at the roundabout then head towards Ercan Airport. Be careful on this road as there are about 5 or 6 speed camera's, eventually you will get to the flyover over the main Lefkosa to Gamimagusa road. As soon as you are in the top of the flyover get across to the left and go down the sweeping bend to the main road, go along there for about 2km and you will see the supermarket on your right. You will need to go to the roundabout and then come back on yourself on the other side of the dual carriageway.
