Best hamam/Turkish bath
I've tried searching the forum but come up with nothing. The only hamam I've used is the old one in Lefkosa next to the narrow walkway from Arabahmet to Arasta. I've heard ther is a more modern one in Lefkosa. Does anyone know where it is, or if there is an alternative in the Girne/Lefkosa area?
Thanks in advance.

Mark,
http://grandturkishhamam.com/
Is this the one you have tried?
It was renovated a few years ago.
We have been twice - worth the experience.

No it's not, but it is the one I was looking for info about. Unfortunately, it is women only this morning and it's this morning that we want to go, so it's going to have to be the old smelly one
We will try this one another time. I think we have passed it before and picked up a lealet, Sally reminds me. It's in the backstreets East of the Saray hotel she says. Is that right?
Thanks for your help.

Most big hotels have them and they are open to the public. I don't think they are smelly but each to their own.

We got in Paul because there were no women waiting. Really good and I feel clean as a whistle. Well worth the money. The other one was closed.paul90 wrote:It is almost alongside the Buyuk Han.

Not closed as such but the guy was not there as it's a bit quiet during the summer.
