Has anyone had RECENT experience importing their UK car

Ill beat you to it, searched all the links, the BRS " Don't do it guide"

The car is here, just want some tips off someone that has recentley gone through the process.

Is their a list of actual government departments and addresses

No recent experience but did it 2010 not a bad experience glad we did it imported a 1.25 Fiesta we had from new duty £1600 duty ish ro ro ferry £600
high cc higher tax so 4x4 big cars in general expensive
Take your uk log book to the customs in lefkosa and get a current valuation of import tax
