Kindle

Been trying to register my kindle with Amazon for an hour but no go. It says the info I have given is incorrect but thats all. ITS NOT! Any ideas?

are you doing it on the kindle or on amazon via the pc?

Just to cover the silly questions, you do have an Amazon account??

Maybe you are getting the email addresses mixed up?

Your normal email address say ????@yahoo.com is part of your amazon sign in but the kindle email address will say something like????@kindle.com.
Not confusing them are you?

And are you logged on to amazon.com or amazon.co.uk ?

I had the same problem, what I did was to create an account with Amazon.co.uk, then register the Kindle with that site, that worked for me.

I used my laptop to get on to my Amazon account which my old kindle is registered to Amazon.co.uk I dont have wi fi so use the wifi hotspot on my phone to down load books. Followed the instructions but no luck.
