How would This Work ??
As many of you will know, i'm gathering info for my move over to the trnc....
One thing i liked was the no visa's for the over 60's (as ive just hit 60 myself) ....
But..
I am lead to believe i'd have to apply for the first one, and one of the things that will be required will be to show a 12 month lease agreement, stamped by the tax office, to show that they are receiving the stopage tax (figures of 12-14% have been banded about...
Here's my problem...
A fellow Brit, knowing my financial situation has said i can stay, FOC, in Their spare room for 12 months, until i "find my feet"....(no its not Sophie or Hector) ...
So there will be no lease to show and obviously no tax to deduct (unless things have changed since i was at school)....
what are your thoughts ? - can i apply for a REtirement visa with no stamped lease ?
And if i may another question - will this be a problem for aplying for a driving licence ? (as i may put the boat out and buy a cheap scooter)...
TIA - Appreciate any helpful advice..

My sister has just moved here and went with all the right documents to get her residency only to be told she can't have it with a rental agreement, come back when you've bought a property.

Your other option is to have a little holiday in Turkey every 90 days. It's very cheap to fly there.

They don't like you repeatedly crossing South to renew but actually leaving the country is ok.

We had friends who no longer live there that popped across the border every 90 days. They did it for 12 years !
