Local Village Festivals

Is there anywhere I can get a list of local village festivals that will b e held this year? I have tried a search on here as well as Mr Google to no avail.

You may get the information from Cyprus Today as the newspaper publishes such articles, BRT or District Offices for the areas involved (Gazimağusa, Girne, Güzelyurt, Iskele, Lefkoşa).

You may also get information from the tourist information centres. There is one in Girne old harbour. Also a kiosk in the car park at the top of Girne high street but I’ve never seen anyone in there.

Not comprehensive or on a quick reading up to date. but would give you somewhere to start. Judging by the Ozankoy experience you need to contact the relevant Muhtar the day before the festival for exact details of time and place.

kedicat2903. Like you I have NEVER EVER SEEN anybody in the Information Kiosk in the Municipal Car Park. I was there on the day it was installed, but that's the lot.
