With the onset of the Hot Cyprus summer don’t forget to pay some attention to the drains. This is COCKROACH time.
I know the Beli usually come around with sprays etc but it’s just as well to spray the drains now and continually through the summer to keep the infestation down. Have started on my drains and was surprised at the number of pesky little blighters. With no main drainage and cess pools it’s best to keep them in check. Moth balls in internal drains also helps

What spray do you use?

I use Sertex. It’s got a nozzle on it that helps to get in all the gaps and cracks. If possible try to direct the spray directly on the cockroach. It seems quite effective as when I checked after spraying the drains were clear. When you open the drain lid they will try to escape and can move quite fast. Spray these directly and they will die.
