Hello folks,
I am seeking some advice/information regarding the car test.The "window" for my car test is 5th August - 15th August,however due to a pre-arranged trip I will not be in TRNC until later this year or possibly early in the new year.Can anyone tell me the procedure for out of date testing and if there are any extra fees or penalties involved.Thanks in anticipation,AM.

If you miss the appointed date slot, you can just take it along when convenient.
You will have to pay a surcharge (it won't break the bank though ) and the MOT will not last any longer - the next test will be due on whatever date is allocated to your Reg.No.
Remember to get the emissions test done just before you go for the MOT!
Alternatively, you might be able to arrange for one of the garages to do a pre-MOT and take it for you on the proper date.
