The Ministry of Health issued a press release today to say they have (finally) received the results of six blood tests sent to Turkey ... and 5 of the 6 confirmed the patients did indeed have the virus
The Ministry of Health also revealed that there were two more confirmed cases of the virus in private hospitals in North Cyprus.
Also, apparently three of the patients being treated in the state hospital (Lefkoşa's we presume) are currently in the intensive care unit

Probably by migrating birds. According to https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-shee ... nile-virus , "mosquitoes become infected when they feed on infected birds".13roman58 wrote:How has this come into TRNC?
The infected mosquitoes might also have come in with the ships though ... the port used for most imports in TRNC is Mağusa ... and it is around Mağusa and İskele where most of the cases have occured. Coming in on the ships though is just speculation.
