How can you calculate the amount of days remaining on 90 day visa when going across the boarder several times.

Not so simple - not simple at all! Apparently, the number of days will be calculated backwards from the day you leave which will then decide how many days you have left....
Read this thread and (hopefully) you will understand (?) how the system will work - merely crossing the border and returning next or in a few days will no longer work....

Jofra you are correct for a Turkish visa
My answer was for the current TRNC visa in which darts over into the roc do not count as leaving the island

Heading of the thread I linked -
"Visit TRNC 90 days in a year Temp Residency needed"
Paragraph from the first post in the thread I linked -
"You have from October this year, until October next year to register into the new system for those expats over the age of 60 years, spending more than 90 days here in any one year. Do not think going over the border and returning will allow you a 90-day extension, it will not. Over the years this unauthorised practice has never been followed up, because the Authorities have been very lax!"
My anwer was intended to provide more information as to what (to date) will apply, so that the OP realises that "current info" given is current only, and therefore will not run into problems later. Ergo my stating "will" etc. rather than "is"......
