Water Tankers

I'm hearing whispers that a new law states water tankers are prohibited from delivering now that the infrastructure is in place for piped water. Can anyone confirm or deny please? Thanks.

Except the water pipe from Turkey is broken. I haven't heard that water tankers have been banned. It used to be a ban on filling ones pool from the mains water and had to be filled by water tanker.

Not banned in Girne. Neighbour had a tanker to fill his tank on Friday.

In Esentepe they have never stopped due to the mayor never keeping his promises We have loads off pipe laying about every were but its no good rolled up laying in piles on the road side has been for close on a year now all paid up and no water to go
