Is the UK now Red?

I spoke with a friend earlier, something came through on his phone, no idea from whom. He said, " great, now the ROC have declared the UK as a Red country" I didnt question his source, any others heard that?

It wasn't Red when we came out.

If you read this UK has been red since 8th July, however if you've been fully vaccinated in the UK you don't need a PCR test.

Note: neither Turkey nor TRNC are on list of accepted countries. Has that changed?

I stand corrected, probably just thinking of TRNC for which UK is Amber.
