Hi
My Father (84) has lived in TRNC for 19 years in Catalkoy. I live in England. Last week he had a stroke and is in Nicosia hospital. He is recovering but is due to come out of hospital on Monday and will need some personal care for a few weeks. Unfortunately my mother is not in a position to help him as he ussed to be her carer.
He has a wide circle of friends ( who unfortunately I do not know ) who I am sure will be supportive, but in the meantime I am looking for any contacts that people might have for the following:
A live in carer for a couple of weeks
Name of a physiotherapist that can help with his mobility.
A loan of a wheel chair.
If any of the above speak a little English that would be helpful but not essential
Many thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Re: Help with Care
Sorry to hear about your dad, Kevin. I’d recommend getting in touch with Golden Years Homecare in the TRNC for a live-in carer—I've heard good things about them. For physiotherapy, you could try the Cyprus Physiotherapy Centre in Nicosia; they’re well-regarded and might be able to help with his mobility. As for the wheelchair, I’d check with Nicosia hospitals or even the Red Cross in the area—they sometimes lend them out. I hope your dad’s recovery goes smoothly and that you’re able to find the help you need.
