Car key fob battery question

A warning has come on this morning that the battery in my car key fob is running low. Typically the guy who changes it for me is away for three days! Does anyone know how long it will last until I can replace it please? I dont want to mess with it.

There easy to change just open up pick up new one

Thank you, now sorted, went to the key shop near the hospital, he sorted it in about 15 seconds. I had no idea how to get into it.
