Banks opening times over New Year

Anyone know please? I realise they will be closed on New Years Day, but will they be opened 2nd/3rd January?

Haven't banks taken one more day that the average in the past, or has that depended on what day New Years Day falls.

Thanks BB. I honestly don't know as I tend to avoid around holidays normally. Unfortunately need to get bank statements as I only got 6 months residency, and will need them before heading to Lefkosa on Monday. Whether I get the exemption is another thing though.

Open normally Thursday and Friday
