I presumed, that is what we saw in Lefkoşa. all round the roundabouts, lots of people with green flags etc shouting slogans

I fail to see the mentality behind waving flags at roundabouts! I mean, how's that going to change a voters mind to vote for that party? I guess they think it is "Cyprus has Talent" competition: "MAY THE BEST FLAG WAVER AT THE ROUNDABOUTS WIN THIS ELECTION"!
