DOGS Do they still have to go into quarantine in Lefkosa
Hi, I moved to the TRNC in 2007, our dogs had to spend 2 weeks in quarantine, which was horrible for them and us, does this rule still apply as I have heard they allow you to home quarantine now, can anyone give advice please?

Your best bet is to check with KAR as they know all the up to date regulations. Takea look at their web page, the answer may be on there.
I am pretty sure that home quarantine is now the 'norm' but best learn from the experts.

We brought our two Cocker Spaniels out last April and just had to keep them in our villa grounds for three weeks, classed as home quarantine, no problem.

We brought our two cats Nov 2012 and also had home quarantine. That is as long as all the paperwork is in order of course. Think the change has a lot to do with the removal of the need for 6 months quarantine in UK, but I may be wrong.
