Big oil spillage at power station on the east of the island

In later reports ( http://www.gundemkibris.com/kalecikteki ... 62490h.htm ) the amount of fuel oil released is given as 50 tons, which has so far spread out to an area with a radius of 3km. Still though a major disaster

They really should have the barriers 'on site' given that according to the article this has happened recently.
Waiting another day for the equipment to arrive runs the risk of the spill causing an even bigger mess in a so called protected area.
